こんな自分に何ができるか

30歳になったら自分の学んできたことを伝える番だ。

ずっとそう思いながら、年月がすぎるのは早いもので、もうすぐ30 歳になる。

学生の頃に読んだ、孔子の言葉

吾十有五而志于学。

三十而立

15にして学問に志を立て、

30になってその基礎ができあがり、自立する。

この言葉の通り、30になれば、今までの経験を活かし、子どもたちのためにできることをするんだと。

私自身、中学のときの塾の先生に憧れを抱き、勉強をした。

なにかに夢中になるには、憧れが一番の近道だと、私は思っている。

例えば、憧れの先輩が入っている部活に入って、頑張る学生を見ていると、憧れの気持ちが生み出すエネルギーの大きさに驚愕してしまう。

 

勉強しなさい。

ちゃんとした会社に入るために

はしっかり勉強しないと、、

成績を上げるためには、授業をしっかり聞いて、予習復習を欠かさないこと、、

 

どれだけ身近な大人がアドバイスしようが、その言葉というのはなかなか上手く入ってこない。

一人の大人として、生徒たちと接する。

自身も目標を掲げ、成長し続ける姿を見せ続けたい。

学校の勉強なんて、社会に出てからなんにも役に立たない。

そう言っている大人からはきっと何も学べない。

万が一、私がそう感じているならば、自ら学校に行かない選択をしているだろう。

大切なのは、

勉強と社会のつながりを意識すること。

知ることを楽しむこと。

新しいことを学べば、必ず次の課題がうまれる。

わからないことをすぐに調べることができて、参考になる書籍の情報もすぐに得られる。

その書籍を手に入れるのも簡単だ。

知らないことがたくさんあることを知り、知りたいと思う気持ちを大切にし、

常に自分を高める方向に持っていく強さを持ち続ける。

そんな生き様を娘たちも含め、出会う人に見せていけたらなと思う。

そのために専門学校の仕事を辞めて、私は塾を始めることにしました。
