期末試験がおわり・・

唐突だけど、

昨日、宿題以外に何か勉強した？？

2学期期末試験が終わり、

中学1・2年生にとっては気が抜ける時期ではあるけれども、一ヶ月後に控えたチャレンジテストへ向けて勉強を始めないといけないのではないか。

テスト前に勉強するのは当たり前。

テスト後に勉強するから点数が伸びる。

え？やることが解らないなんて、期末試験500点満点とった人の台詞だよ。

期末試験の目的を履き違えてない？

期末試験前に勉強する機会を与えられ、自分のわかっていないところに気付くためのチャンスじゃないか。

短いスパンで言えば高校受験に向けての確認作業の一つでしかないんだ。

でもその一回一回を大切にして欲しい。

期末試験のやり直しをしない人は、期末試験を受けた意味の半分以上を失っているんだ。

一回でできないならもう一回やる。

自分が何回やれば覚えられるのか。

どういう勉強の仕方が自分に向いているのか。

それを知るための毎日なんだ。

毎日、自分は成長している。

そう言い切れる毎日を過ごしてほしい。

そうしたら、そう言い切れる人生になるから。

誰も、無駄に過ごしていい時間なんてない。

それは無駄にしていい人生がないのと同じ。

もちろん自分のためになるし、きっと身近な誰かのためになる。

やり切ったんだ。

もうこれ以上はできなかったんだ。

これが自分のベストなんだ。

その気持ちを味わってほしい。

そのためには、もっと時間を意識してほしい。

時間を意識する感覚が養われていくと、

テレビを見る前に、

このテレビを見ると1時間使ってしまう。

それなら勉強しようか。そんなに見たいわけでもないもんな。

そうだ。取捨選択ができるようになる。

誰かに決められる、流されるような人生にしてほしくない。

ほんの小さなことでも、自分でそう決めたんだと言い切って欲しい。

毎日毎日あらゆる場面で自分を振り返られる、

そんな日々を過ごして欲しいと願う。

冬休み。部活はあるけれども、自分の時間は普段よりも多い。

どう過ごすか

どう使うか

それは自分で決めることだ。

何から始めていいかわからない。

でも何かやり遂げたい。

そう思っているならいくらでも相談にのりたい。

でも、結局、やるのは自分だ。

誰にも強制されない、

純粋な勉強ができるのは

テスト後だと思う。

ぜひ、勉強を楽しんでほしいと思う。
