大学生の時に読んだ物理学の本に出てきた「寺田寅彦」

やけに彼の書く文章に惹かれて気付けば毎日彼の作品を大学の図書館で借りては読んでいた。

彼の作品は、今書き上げたかのようなものが多い。

まさか、100年も前の作品だとは思わないくらい、今を生きている。

20年間もの間、この素晴らしい方の作品を読んで来なかった自分に後悔すると同時に、これから彼の作品を読んで、科学者として文学者としての彼の人生を追いかけることができることに喜びに胸が高鳴った。

本当に素晴らしいものばかりだ。
