今日はこのブログらしからぬ内容となりますが、きっと、過去を振り返って考えるきっかけになるかと思います。

 

「損得勘定」

あまりいいイメージはないかなと思います。

自分主体の利害によって物事を判断するということ。

 

私事ですが、3年ほど前に分譲マンションに引っ越しをしました。

その際に、、各自治体によって異なるのですが、一定期間の間に手続きをすれば数十万の助成金がもらえるというものでした。

 

しかし、2つあるうちの1つの助成金の手続きを忘れてしまい、助成金を受けることができなかったのです。

 

周りの人から言われた言葉は

「損したねー」

という言葉でした。

いやいや、自分が一番わかっているって。

 

あーあ、これ、旦那に言ったらなんていわれるだろうか・・と思いながら仕事から帰ってきた旦那に話すと、

 

「損してないやん。それ普通やん」と。

 

自分の耳を疑いました。

 

「損するっていうのは、この前、俺がやった財布落としたようなこと。

得するっていうのは、助成金をもらうようなこと。

今回はプラマイゼロでしょ？

世の中を損か得かだけしか考えられないような奴はくだらないよ。」と言ってました。

 

そうか。よくよく考えてみれば誰からお金を取られたわけでもないのにこの喪失感。

ほんとバカげてるよなと。

でも自分の一番身近な人がそういう風に考えていることに感謝しかなかった。

自分が逆の立場だったら相手を攻めたりしていなかっただろうかと。

 

助成金の申請を忘れたりして後悔・失望してしまっているような過去の私みたいな人がいれば、この言葉を思い出してほしい。
